Indonesian Butter Chicken


Ingredients

  • 1 nice green onion
  • 8-10 pieces chicken cleaned and washed
  • 2-3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
  • 4 cloves of fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt & sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or even margarine

Instructions

  1. Crush garlic and mix with a little salt, then coat chicken
  2. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan, fry the chicken until cooked, set aside
  3. Meanwhile, crushed the other 2 cloves of garlic, make thin cut of the green onion, set aside
  4. Heat the margarine, saute the crushed garlic, add in sweet soy sauce, stir well, if needed add in 1/4 cup of water.
  5. Add in salt and a little bit of sugar, then add in the fried chickens, stir well.
  6. Just before turning off the stove, add in the thinly cut of green onions.
  7. Serve with hot rice, and chicken & corn soup!
